Buenas Coffee

A neighborhood café and roastery. Coffee is the reason people come in; the room is the reason they stay. We run community events, rotate a seasonal menu, carry specialty goods from partners we actually know, and take mobile orders for the mornings when someone just needs to be somewhere else in ten minutes.

Right now the work is unglamorous: updating operations, expanding retail, and stabilizing revenue after a few turbulent years. A café teaches a different pace than software does: a different kind of presence, on a shorter feedback loop, with the results standing in front of you holding a cup.
