One multi-tenant core, with functionality grouped into modules that get switched on per organization. Agents connect over MCP alongside the normal dashboard. Signing in and connecting an agent are two doors into the same building, not a product and an afterthought API.

Racking is the first module: a designer, a bill-of-materials generator, and a cut list. It descends from a parametric compiler for pipe-and-joint racking, where a rack is a JSON document that a ten-stage compiler turns into steel, a solver prices and checks, and a browser viewer draws. Name a rack and it gets built; name an order and several racks get bought at once.

The discipline that made the compiler work is the one I keep returning to: vendor guidance is authoritative and doesn't get re-derived. Cut lengths are what get ordered and sawn. If the render disagrees with the published dimensions, the render is wrong. Software that quietly "improves" on the source of truth produces confident, expensive mistakes.

Modules after racking follow the same shape: real work a shop already does, moved somewhere it can be priced, checked, and handed to someone else.
